have i just experienced a significant epiphany tonight?

I’m not sure.  I just read about half of a book on blogging, and it seems like a whole lot of ideas are coming into sharper focus.

Maybe I’ve just seen some profound insights into what blogging is and what I’m doing with this website and how to best reach people with ideas.

Maybe I’m just in an unreasonably good mood and I’m just getting over-excited.

Time will tell.  I don’t have the time, if I were to type from now (2:35 am) until church tomorrow, to work out in words all the thoughts I’m thinking.  I’m having trouble working them all out in my head, even.

But if it turns out that I decide to stick with some of these trains of reasoning, here’s some of what you’ll see in the coming days:

Some thoughts on this book on blogging.

Some thoughts on the nature of blogging.

Some changes to the way interaction occurs on this blog.

A greater use of links.

A merciless criticism of a site I like but often can’t stand reading (theverticalview.com).

A response to Glenn People’s “A Christian cannot be a libertarian,” along with (pardon me if this may sound blasphemous) perhaps some libertarian analysis of power in the Bible.

A broading of the sorts of topics I’m taking on.

And maybe some other stuff too.

As always, I welcome your thoughts.

Why, thank you, Joel. It’s just such a weird tool and I’m excited to figure out what it’s capabilities are and how it can be made useful.

It has been most useful for connecting to people such as yourself, Mitchell.
