abc cut — score one for blogging

Story here.

ABC is replacing a bunch of traditional journalists with journalists expected to produce their own material and rely it by computer.  That’s because internet-based news is way better than the printed stuff.  The market is reacting to what everyone else knows.  Of course, some will feel upset about the gradual demise of mainstream-style reporting, but do you seriously prefer news distributed by a handful of companies in small packets, or the more robust distribution of news you see all over the internet?
