On page ninety-three of Tov’s Textual Criticism, I found this line:
An extensive linguistic description of [the Samaritan text of the Torah] is found apud Ben-Hayyim, Macuch, and Sperber.
So what does apud mean? It felt like one of those things I should know by now, so I’ve looked it up, and it means “in the work of.” Now we know.
