about

Ve’al timkor is a Hebrew phrase from Proverbs 23:23, about sticking to the truth.  I think of it as a command to never sell out the truth.  And that’s what fontwords.com is about.

I always have and always will give you the truth as I see it on this website (see here for a short summary of my worldview).

As part of my effort to be transparent and avoid conflicts of interest, I will strive to be upfront about my own biases coming into any topic.  I also won’t take any form of compensation for writing anything on this site.

I fully release my claims to copyright on everything I produce here so that you can agree or disagree with me, use my words, rephrase my words, or attack my ideas without messy legalities getting in the way.

I welcome your comments, even if–especially if–we have disagreements, because that’s a powerful way for us to learn to respect each other and bring the truth to light.  If for any reason you feel the need to contact me, feel free to email me, post a comment, or use the contact page of this website to get a hold of me.

A final note:  in order to keep myself away from the temptation to serve vested interests rather than truth, I will not do paid advertisements for anything or anyone on this blog.  I will not ask for donations to support my work on this site.  I will not take a free “review copy” of any book from publishers who want me to talk them up on my blog.

All this is to create another little place online where productive dialogue and great ideas can flourish.  Here’s to us doing it, together.
