Nestle-Aland Text (I don’t like the text much, but there’s a lot of information in the footnotes)
NA26 — This contains, divided into chapters and displayed as one image per verse, the complete Greek text (with diacritics) of the 26th edition of Nestle & Aland. Downsides: you can’t copy individual phrases or copy as text, this website might be in copyright violation against the United Bible Societies, and because the site’s producer might be dead, the site might disappear any day. The site has a “Condition of Use” bar at the top which dictates that the site may only be used for non-profit making purposes only, per orders of the University of York. I’m not sure if that’s legally binding, or if the U. of Y. or the deceased webmaster have any right to use or restrict use of NA26.
Vorlage (attempted reconstruction of no longer extant bases of translation)
Ntaeg 1.01 — New Testament According to the Egyptian Greek. A reconstruction of the Greek vorlage underlying the Sahidic Greek New Testament. Available as a text file using Roman characters to replace Greek characters. Personal use only; copyright J. Warren Wells.
Other Greek Editions through the years
1898 — Westcott and Hort’s Greek New Testament, Vol I. It should be fairly simple for you to find other volumes from here. But if you have any trouble, let me know and I’ll send you links to whatever volume you’re seeking.
1894 — Scrivener’s Greek New Testament — online as html text at Biblegateway; a quite exact reproduction of the text underlying the KJV, although Jay P. Green tells us there are a handful of places where Scrivener does not exactly represent the NT text. I’ve got the beginning materials for what I’d like to one day turn into a paper on the subject. If anyone should want to see my dreadfully incomplete work on Scrivener, I’d be happy to send them an email with it.
1550 — Stephanus’ Greek New Testament — when people talk about the textus receptus, they’re often talking about this edition. This online edition is an html version, stripped of diacritical markings. WANTED: Pdf of the original 1550 Stephanus GNT. WANTED: An online reprint of Beza’s slightly revised reprint.
